Laura grew up in Orange County, California, and attended the University of California, Santa Barbara. While in college, she founded several businesses and launched the Entrepreneurs Club.
A seasoned world traveler, Laura has worked as a TV anchor and investigative reporter, gaining unique insights into various industries. She has owned multiple companies in real estate, finance, and the medical field, giving her a deep understanding of the needs of business owners and their employees.
As the founder and CEO of The Benefit Queen, Laura is committed to helping businesses customize their employee benefits with one key goal: reducing health insurance premiums while attracting and retaining top talent. Her services span medical and life insurance, supplemental benefits, tax-free retirement plans, Living Benefits, Key Person Insurance, student loan debt elimination, and Legal and identity theft protection.
A best-selling author and dynamic speaker, Laura is most proud of being a mother to her son, a D1 collegiate swimmer. When she’s not traveling, skiing, or biking, Laura splits her time between Colorado and Arizona. She’s passionate about supporting causes like Bike MS, which raises money and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis, and nonprofits that aid women affected by domestic violence and human trafficking.
